I’ve been in love with Jacob Blake since he the day he picked me up in his strong arms, holding me close.
I was five years old.
I spent my life chasing after him—
Trying to make him see I'm more than just his sister’s little friend.
I never dreamed getting his attention would also destroy him.
One night...
A night that held so much promise, broke the man I love into so many pieces, I don’t know if he can be mended back together.
Or if he will even let me try.
*This book does contain violence and may contain emotional triggers.*

Jordan Marie just keeps getting better with each book! While I liked Breaking Dragon, I rated it lower and didn't LOVE it and even though Saving Dancer deals with a much more heavy subject matter and is definitely dark, it really hit home with me and I devoured it!This was one of those books that was so interesting, I did not want to put it down until I could get some answers. Dancer was a fascinating and broken down man...always having to be the tough guy...he didn't know how to deal with life or himself as a victim.
A crime which is primarily against women (being that we are weaker and more vulnerable) doesn't make it any less violent and invasive when it is a man who is victimized. In many ways, what happened to Dancer to cause him to be so dysfuntional with Carrie, was harder than even getting over killing someone as there was no easy way to erase the memories that would wake him up sweating and crying out in his sleep.
I really loved the tug of war Dancer had within himself and with his club brothers (especially Dragon who really wanted to help him but couldn't find the right way to do it) and when he realizes he has everything to lose by not getting help, things take a desperate turn.
Carrie grows up and becomes a tougher woman (not a little girl anymore) and faces not only the choice of whether or not to walk away from the only man that she has ever loved, but also a game changing event which will make Dancer forever be a part of her life.
I loved the supporting characters, the girl fights in the clubhouse, the tense moments between the brothers, jealousy, pain and mostly the passion between the various couples who make up this MC.
A really strong second book in the series and I look forward to the next one!

Saving Dancer Savage Brothers MC edition by Jordan Marie Letitia Hasser Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
After reading Breaking Dragon, I was so waiting for Dancer's story. I new it just going to be really emotional. And now after finished reading it...I just don't have word's to describe how this story made me feel.
It was a real roller-coaster of kaleidoscope of emotions. I gone from heartbreak to anger, then from laughing to sweetness to annoyance to crying...And then all over again. And not necessarily in that order.
At some points all those emotions I felt for Dancer. My heart really hurt for him. He felt into a dark hole and couldn't find his way out. I don’t think he even tried to help himself. He just stopped fighting.
I believe most of people are having one or other kind of demons in their lifes. When they hit that line when to them it becomes just to much....I believe, on those moments it's okay, to just lie down on the dusty floor. But at some point you start to fight again. You start crawling, you start to walk. And at the end you run. Run free. And though those demons will always be with you, but...They will never control your actions again. They will never control you again. You will be ruling your life. You will be the master of your fate.
All this I so wanted to say to Dancer at his darkest hours. When he thought, that he's weak, he can't protect anyone because he couldn't protect himself. Those moments were heartbreaking agonizing. But also made me mad a little, too.
No. I never was mad because he lost himself in the darkness. Like I said before it's okay to just let it all go. So, it was okay for Dancer to be...Not living, just exist for a while. What made me angry, is that he lost sense of time. He let himself wallow in misery for too long. He lost faith in himself.
And though Carrie lightened some of his corners, but not even she could help him out, when he continued to keep his head in the sand and pretend it just a bad dream.
What needs to happen for you to wake up and face the true? It always have the same answer. To open your eyes, you need to lose someone important. Someone you take for granted. But most of the time, when you release, what you had, is too late to do anything. Because sometimes people had enough. They reach their limits. And love isn't enough anymore.
Do you think, Dancer release all this before it's to late? And if he is late, would he be able to bring his Care Bear back? Or at the end, his demon's will win over the pure selfless gift of love?
And talking about Carrie. I still cannot made up my mind about her love for Dancer. Should I be annoyed how she cling to Dancer or just admire this sweet but at the same time a tough love of hers?
Because let's face it. Not a lot of women would stay beside a man who shouts to the world all those crude words in her face, spill the bean's about her v-card he snatched...The list kinda goes and goes. So, most women would just kick him in the balls and walk away, never looking back. They wouldn't have so much patience, that Carrie showed. Now when I'm thinking about it, Carrie is a saint. Yup, an angel. But even an angels can give up, no? Especially when there is someone special, they need to take care of beside themself.
So, it just left to guess....Will Carrie still fight to the shattering end? Or, she finally have enough of fighting alone for two?
The wicked woman aka Jordan Marie made me to have a hangover after finishing it! And not only for this couple, but also for other characters.
I had no clue how much I missed Dragon and Nicole, until I meet them again here. They both where amazing. Loyal friends, fabulous family members. And their love...Is still as beautiful.
Bull...Oh, Damn! I wanna cry, just thinking about him. I will kiss his all boo-boos and give a lot of hugs.
Overall Rating 5 Rockin’ '''''
Anger, pain, sadness and despair are prevalent in Jordan Marie's newest release, Saving Dancer. This is the second book in the Savage MC series and the continuation of the storyline from book one. This continuance adds a new flavor to the intriguing chemistry among the tight knit brothers from Kentucky and their motorcycle club lifestyle.
In her debut novel, Breaking Dragon the author introduced us to Nicole and Dragon with glimpses of Carrie and Dancer. Dancer was the brother that was incarcerated in a federal prison for protecting Carrie from a brutal attack outside a club. We anticipated from the beginning that their journey would be a battle to find each other as well as a thoroughly intriguing and entertaining read. This is Jacob and Carrie's story about finding their way to each other and the love they both needed. Warning this is a heart wrenching and soul searching relationship. The author approaches a very sensitive subject in this book. The setting that she uses to deliver her message is brilliant.
After the betrayal of Irish, Dragon and his brothers are struggling to make things right and strengthen trust among the brothers once again. Dancer doesn't want anything to do with them now. He wants to remain in his own world suffering alone, without anyone finding out the horrors that were inflicted on him. His brothers, however, are not going to allow that to happen. They are determined to pull Dancer back into the club and help him heal.
Jacob a.k.a. Dancer is finally free from his torturous two year trip to hell. He is suffering from the horrific things that were done to him in prison. Carrie is brought under the protection of the Savage MC when an unknown threat tries to end her life and does take the life of her parents. Jacob blames Carrie for his imprisonment and all the wrongs that he was dealt while in prison. This leads to him lashing out at her every opportunity he gets. In his heart he knows she is his only salvation but the anger, shame and fear drives him to keep her as far away from him and his life as possible. Carrie loves Jacob with every fiber of her being and has from the moment as a child she laid eyes on him. She has waited for him to claim her and has never stopped loving him.
Our heroine is strong, yet pliable, while young in years, she has an old heart and a mature mind. When Carrie makes up her mind, there is no turning back or swaying her. While our hero has suffered two tortuous years, his background suggests that he has always been filled with anger and had a short fuse when confronted. He is a sexy, mouthwatering, strong alpha male with protective tendencies.
Without a doubt, Jordan Marie's creativity brought Jacob and Carrie's story to life. The depth of their love and search for happiness is threaded throughout the entire book. While at the same time the characters continue to grow and develop. More players are introduced as the plot evolves. I can't wait to see where this series will go in her next book.
